I worked with a team of friends in creating what would become the winning short at the festival, an experiment in which you only have two days to produce a short film under certain guidelines that are randomly assigned at the beginning of the project. I wrote and edited the film.
"A Monkton Family Christmas" won Best Film and Best Screenwriting and moved forward to represent the region in Filmapalooza 2008. It also won Gold, Best Film, at the Miami Short Film festival 2007 and was Official Selection in the Short Film category at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
