My team and I were commissioned by the band to create a striking video --with a low budget-- for their song "Soy Como Tú," which speaks about the repeating cycle of love and hate. We wanted to portray a couple that falls in and out of love through time, and decided to break the cliché and stand out of the ordinary by experimenting with technique.
The video was recorded in its entirety using a single Samsung gear 360 camera placed in the middle of the room. As the room changed through time following the relationship, the camera remained stationary. The band was then recorded in the same setting. The camera was animated in post-production using Cinema 4D.
